17.07.2023 | EURODIS awards best members and celebrates anniversary year

This year EURODIS, the international road-based network for joint transport of parcels and pallets, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the market.

“The best way to celebrate such an anniversary, is to honor the service quality of its members”, says Jens Reibold, Managing Director of EURODIS GmbH. At the recent jubilee convention in Lyon (France) EURODIS presented the awards of its annual competitions. The top performers in terms of operational quality, customer service and sales in 2022 were the German member trans-o-flex Express, and the Hungarian and Slovakian members Express One. The network focuses on international shipments and is operating in 36 European countries.

“Our German member was awarded with the prize for best operational quality for the seventh consecutive year”, Reibold adds. “Congratulations to the entire team for this extraordinary and continuing success!” The quality ranking is a central benchmark of the network’s operational excellence. It is based on criteria such as transit times, data transmission, status information and proof of delivery. This key operational data is measured and analysed daily, to continuously steer and improve processes.

The other two awards went to Express One in Slovakia and Hungary, both of which belong to the Austrian Post Group.

Express One Slovakia won the sales award, in which EURODIS members compete with proven sales concepts and success stories. “The idea behind this is best practice learning”, comments Reibold: “In a cooperative network like EURODIS, we encourage our members to learn from each other and to copy the best solutions to adopt them for their country.”

Express One Hungary won the award for best customer support for the second time in a row. Key criteria for this competition are how fast and how well the members respond to inquiries.

“All three awards are an important part of our quality management and moreover an ideal motivation and acknowledgement for the performance of the respective teams”, Reibold says.
